Call for Papers

The WIP Meeting 2009 – Macao is the 10th annual meeting of the World Internet Project where the WIP partners, Internet researchers, industries and policy makers will come together to share their research results, viewpoints and to foster interactions and collaborations.

The Macao meeting invites considerations of the trends of the Internet usage, impact of the Internet and its social, economic and political implications to us over ten years of collaborative studies in the field.

We now call for papers and presentations from our WIP partners and any interested parties from any discipline that address the following, but not limited to, themes.

  1. International Comparison of the Internet Usage
  2. The Impact of the Internet on social, economic or political life
  3. Youth/Adolescent’s online world
  4. Mobile Internet
  5. Digital Divide
  6. Methodological issues in Internet Research

Please login from the “Registration” section and send your title and abstract by June 1, and your full paper or presentation materials in PPT format by June 20.
