There are two kinds of taxis in Macau: the black with cream roof ones and the yellow ones. The flagfall charge is MOP13.00 (USD1.63) for the first 1600 meters. MOP1.50 (USD0.19) will be added for every 230 meters afterwards. Waiting on passengers´request will be charged for MOP1.50 (USD0.19) per minute. A. Border Gate A to B: If you come to Macau by land, you can take a 15-minute taxi from the Border Gate to the University of Macau. It will cost you MOP60-70 (USD7.5-8.75) approximately. C to B: If you come to Macau by sea, you can take a 10-minute taxi from the Ferry Terminal to the University of Macau. It will cost you MOP50-60 (USD6.25-7.5) approximately.
